United High Schoolās Students of the Month for November are Senior, Sierra; Junior, Rozalynn; Sophomore, Jake; and Freshman, Delaney. Sierra was nominated by English Teacher, Mr. Klimkewicz in recognition of her determination to succeed and her desire to always do the best she can. Sierra was also nominated by Ms.Hermosillo, our English Student Teacher, because of her motivation to fulfill her goals. Sierra represents the UHS Core Values of āCommitment, Family, & Integrity.ā Rozalynn was nominated by Mrs. Anderson, Mr. Klimkewicz, Ms. Hermosillo, & Mrs. Lair. The common theme to all of her nominations was her commitment to wanting to truly learn and understand the content being taught, as well as how caring and friendly she is. Rozalynn represents the UHS Core Values of āCommitment and Family." Jake was nominated by Mrs. Burgess in recognition of his growth, focus, and willingness to try new things. The UHS Core Value that Jake best represents is āCommitment.ā Delaney was nominated by math teacher, Mrs. Anderson because she has a great attitude and is always willing to help other students. We are excited to welcome Prairie Communications to UHS for our job fair Friday program. Prairie Communications has a number of different opportunities available for our students interested in a career in broadcasting, marketing, graphic design, and public relations. #BeUnited



Some of our students from our new "Entrepreneurship" class got to test out their business skills during lunch today. This group of students created a hot dog stand business to learn more about profit margins, marketing, and customer service! #BeUnited

The UHS Kindness Club is hosting a coat drive through December 16th. If you have any new or gently used coats you would like donate, we are collecting them in the UHS main office. This program is in conjunction with The Crossing's "No Kid Cold" program this winter. #BeUnited


Our UHS Wellness Day is underway! Students are taking part in yoga, physical fitness challenges, arts and crafts, and engaging with an alumni panel. Thanks again to all of our presenters for supporting this event! #BeUnited





This Monday we will be conducting our 2nd annual UHS Wellness Day for our students. We have multiple presenters from the surrounding community providing seminars and workshops for our students all geared toward overall physical and mental wellness. #BeUnited
