Tomorrow, June 2nd, kicks off summer school, boys/girls weights & agilities and summer camp through the BOOST program. Below is the current bus times and pick up spots if you need transportation.

United High Schoolās Students of the Month for April / May are Sophomore, Emma and Freshman, Henry. Emma was nominated by Ms. Wood and Mr. Ross because of her commitment to excellence and for being an incredible role model. They say that Emma represents all of the UHS Core Values of āEmpathy, Pride, Integrity, Commitment, and Family.ā Henry was nominated by Mr. Wascher because he is such a kind, caring, responsible young man, and he works diligently at the tasks at hand. The UHS Core Values that Henry best represents are āIntegrity, Commitment, and Empathy.ā Each student will receive a gift certificate good for 1 drink at Dame Fine Coffee! Join us as we send our United Track and Field girls to Charleston to compete at the State Track Meet.

When: May 21st
šWhere: We will leave the high school around 11:30-11:45 and head west into Monmouth down Broadway. We will head north on Main and then east at McDonald's to head towards Charleston
ā°ļøTime: 11:30 (walk through High School) and then load the bus.

The postseason accolades continue for this year's United High School Girls' Basketball Team! The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association has recently recognized our team with an "All State Academic Award" for having the highest team GPA amongst all girls' basketball teams from our Legislative District. This morning the Galesburg Area Vocational Center recognized those graduating seniors that will be pursuing a career and/or furthering their education in a CTE profession. Those participating in today's signing ceremony were: Madilyn Lair, Jacey Hasten, Alex Melleny, Ryan Jimenez-Stevens, Kenneth Higbee and Rachel Purlee. Congratulations also to Ryan Jimenez-Stevens who received the GAVC Student of the Year Award and Kenneth Higbee who received 1 of 2 GAVC Scholarships presented by Limited Rods of Western Illinois.
