The UHS Bass Fishing Teams finished 11th and 12th out of 22 boats at a tough Lake McMaster Sectional on May 4th. Thank you to Mr. Sharp, Coach Stewart, and Coach Hart for helping us host our first sectional. #BeUnited

United High School’s Students of the Month for March are Senior, Addison; Junior, Skylar; Sophomore, Roger and Freshman, Jay. Addison was nominated by English Teacher, Mr. Klimkewicz in recognition of her drive to go above and beyond, as well as her pleasant disposition. Mr. Klim says that Addison represents the UHS Core Values of “Pride, Commitment, and Integrity.” Skylar was also nominated by Mr. Klimkewicz for her willingness to respond in the classroom, whether that is as a volunteer reader or someone to share an answer. Skylar exemplifies the UHS Core Values of “Pride and Empathy." Roger was nominated by Mrs. Lair because he has shown a commitment to being the best version of himself through his work in school this year, and at a job outside of school. The UHS Core Value that Roger best represents is “Commitment.” Jay was nominated by Mrs. Carter and Ms. Wood for being kind, compassionate and extremely helpful. Jay represents the "Family, Commitment, Integrity, and Empathy" Core Values for UHS. Congratulations to these students!

April is Autism Awareness Month. West Elementary and the UHS Entrepreneurship class joined forces to help bring awareness by creating a t-shirt. Please consider helping spread awareness about autism! Deadline to order is this Friday, April 14 and shirts will be ready for pick up by April 26th.

Due to the forecast of potentially severe weather for our area near the end of our regular school day, all United schools will be dismissing at 1:30 on Friday March 31st. Please make arrangements for your student following a 1:30 dismissal on Friday March 31st. All after school activities are postponed on Friday as well.
