United High Schoolās Students of the Month for December are Senior, Aiden; Junior, Rachel; Sophomore, Lauren; and Freshman, Billie Jo. Aiden was nominated by English Teacher, Mr. Klimkewicz in recognition of his determination to succeed in his final semester of high school. Mr. Klim says that Aiden represents the UHS Core Value of āCommitmentā as he was committed to being the best version of himself. Rachel was nominated by Mr. Klimkewicz due to her exemplification of all of the UHS Core Values: āFamily, Pride, Commitment, Integrity and Empathy." Rachel is kind, diligent, and pushes herself to excel. Lauren was nominated by science teacher, Mrs. Menge because she is not afraid to push herself in order to be successful. The UHS Core Values that Lauren best represents are āCommitment and Integrity.ā Billie Jo was nominated by Mrs. Menge in recognition of her great attitude and fantastic work ethic. Billie Jo represents the "Commitment and Integrity" core values for UHS. Congratulations to these students!

Sierra was nominated by English Teacher, Mr. Klimkewicz in recognition of her determination to succeed and her desire to always do the best she can. Sierra was also nominated by Ms.Hermosillo, our English Student Teacher, because of her motivation to fulfill her goals. Sierra represents the UHS Core Values of āCommitment, Family, & Integrity.ā Rozalynn was nominated by Mrs. Anderson, Mr. Klimkewicz, Ms. Hermosillo, & Mrs. Lair. The common theme to all of her nominations was her commitment to wanting to truly learn and understand the content being taught, as well as how caring and friendly she is. Rozalynn represents the UHS Core Values of āCommitment and Family." Jake was nominated by Mrs. Burgess in recognition of his growth, focus, and willingness to try new things. The UHS Core Value that Jake best represents is āCommitment.ā Delaney was nominated by math teacher, Mrs. Anderson because she has a great attitude and is always willing to help other students. Delaney represents the "Commitment" core value for UHS. Congratulations to these students!

We are excited to welcome McDonald's this week for our UHS Job Fair Friday program! McDonald's has employed many of our students over the years and has been a staple in the Monmouth community. #BeUnited


Tonightās jv girls basketball game will have 6 minutes quarters instead of 7 to help accommodate low numbers for West Prairie. Please be advised that the varsity start time may be sooner than normal. #BeUnited
