
Good Evening - this is a recorded message from the United School District on Thursday March 30th 2023. Due to the forecast of potentially severe weather for our area near the end of our regular school day, all United schools will be dismissing at 1:30 on Friday March 31st. Please make arrangements for your student following a 1:30 dismissal on Friday March 31st. All after school activities are postponed on Friday as well.

Only a few months left of the school year, don't let your grades slip!! If you need help BOOST has before and after school tutoring available. Also check the calendar for Woodworking, Cooking Club and the Rec League events! As always if you have questions let Mr. Dennison know!


Practice and Tryouts will be on Wednesday, April 5 at the high school. All information is located in Google Classroom. Anyone wanting to tryout needs to contact Sarah Horner to get added to the classroom. This is for Basketball and Football Cheer 2023-2024 school year.

United High Schoolās Students of the Month for February are Senior, Oniza; Junior, Landon; Sophomore, Mae and Freshman, Elly. Oniza was nominated by English Teacher, Mr. Klimkewicz in recognition of her confidence and determination. Mr. Klim says that Oniza represents the UHS Core Values of āPride,ā āCommitment,ā and āIntegrityā as she speaks her mind with well-reasoned argumentation in class while being very active in other United groups. Landon was also nominated by Mr. Klimkewicz due to his exemplification of the UHS Core Value: āCommitment." Landon is a student who cares greatly about the quality of his work and is always striving for success with a great attitude. Mae was nominated by Mrs. Anderson because she is an excellent student and role model. The UHS Core Values that Mae best represent are āCommitment and Prideā due to her diligence in completing work and her wonderful attitude. Elly was also nominated by Mrs. Anderson in recognition of her commitment to her learning, being involved and being an all around great person. Elly represents the "Commitment and Pride" core values for UHS. Congratulations to these students!

It's Tax Season!! Ss in Consumers started their 2 day tax test today! Ss fill out an actual 1040 and Schedule 1. They also must know how to navigate the IRS website & locate the tax table. Some tears were shed, but a lot of confidence and smiles when they get a number correct!





United High Schoolās Students of the Month for January are Senior, Bell; Juniors: Ava, McKelvey, & Bridgette; and Freshman, Lily. Bell was nominated by English Teacher, Mr. Klimkewicz in recognition of her being a very well-rounded individual. Mr. Klim says that Bell represents the UHS Core Values of āPride,ā āCommitment,ā and āIntegrityā as she continuously works hard to improve in her academics while being committed to several extra curricular activities. Ava was nominated by Ms. Wood due to her exemplification of all of the UHS Core Values: āFamily, Pride, Commitment, Integrity and Empathy." Ava is so giving of her time and is always thinking of others. McKelvey was nominated by Mr. Klimkewicz because she is always ready to listen and ask questions. The UHS Core Values that McKelvey best represents are āCommitment and Integrity.ā Bridgette was nominated by Mrs. Lair in recognition of her determination to reach her goals. Bridgette represents the "Commitment" core value for UHS. Lily was nominated by science teacher, Mrs. Menge, because she listens, participates, and works very hard on everything she does. Lily best represents the UHS core values of āCommitment and Integrity.ā Congratulations to these students!
