We are proud of the accomplishments achieved by our United Junior High students over our spring break this last week. First off, congratulations again to our 8th grade volleyball team coached by Angie Lybarger and Brea Simkins for a tremendous season that ended with a tough loss in the sectional game vs. Eureka. Natalie Grant was the recipient of the Outstanding Sportsmanship Pin as chosen by the game officials that night.
Next, UJH student Everitt Gibson had a spectacular showing at the YMCA State Swim Meet. Everitt is the state champion in not one, but two events, while also placing in four other events! Altogether this propelled his team to claim the 12U Small Team State Champion title.

Congratulations to Avarey Saathoff for being awarded the IESA Outstanding Sportsmanship Pin after last week's 8-3A volleyball regional championship victory over Mercer County. The 8th grade team moves on tonight to play the sectional matchup vs. Eureka at Washington Middle School, 1100 N. Main St. in Washington, IL, at 6:30. Good luck Red Storm!
