We are continuing to navigate the transition from Skyward to Teacher Ease. As we are doing so, please make note that the meal accounts are not up and running yet. It is still a work in progress. While we are waiting for everything to transfer, we have been keeping track manually of student meals. Once the system is up and running, we will scan meals that students have consumed up until that point. Thank you for being patient and understanding while we work through this transition.
State of Illinois Health Requirements for the 2024-2025 School Year
High School Volleyball for tomorrow, Wednesday, August 28th, has been postponed at this time. The makeup date will be September 19th.
High School Athletics Practice Schedule for Tuesday, August 27th:
6am to 7:30am - Varsity football
After school until 5:30pm - Volleyball, JV football, Cross Country and Cheerleading all indoors
No practice for Golf

Baseball game vs ICS is postponed. Makeup date TBA.
Softball game vs Mercer County is cancelled.
Practice:
Baseball indoors from 3:30-5:30.
Softball indoors from 3:30-5:30.

JH Football weights indoors from 3:30-5:15.
Reminder: Picture Day will be taking place tomorrow at UJSHS for all 7th - 12th graders in the morning. Retakes are scheduled for Wednesday, September 25th.

Due to the forecasted temperatures for tomorrow, Monday, August 26th, the following changes have been made to a scheduled event and practices: The HS girls' golf invite has been postponed (Makeup date TBD). No Boys/Girls HS golf practice on Monday. HS football, volleyball, cheer and cross country will be practicing inside after school also on Monday.

United Junior/Senior High School will be taking school pictures on Tuesday, August 27th. Once pictures have been taken a proof will be sent home at a later date for ordering.

Thank you to all that attended last night's open house at UJSHS. Big thanks to Mr. Dennison and staff for providing a meal and school supplies to our freshmen attendees. Also, big thanks to Mrs. Lair and the Connections Leaders for their guidance with new students touring the building last night.
Also, remember that attendance for tomorrow, Thursday, August 15th, will be for 7th, 8th and 9th at UJSHS. Friday, August 16th, will be for all grades, 7th-12th. Both of these days will be full attendance days.
All Incoming Freshman students and families are invited to attend United HS Backpack/Open House Family Night, co-hosted by our 21 st CCLC B.O.O.S.T. Program and United HS, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 5-7PM in the Commons at United HS.
Clarification established at tonight's school board meeting for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade families: United will continue to provide the same participation opportunities for JH athletes. Therefore, the 6th grade students will be able to participate as they did in previous years (golf, wrestling, track/field), and 7th and 8th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in multiple sports during the same season.
Reminder: Only 7th, 8th and 9th graders will be in attendance on the first day of school, Thursday, August 15th at UJSHS.
10th, 11th and 12th graders will start the next day on Friday, August 16th. Again, on Friday, August 16th, all grades, 7th-12th will be in attendance at UJSHS.
Both of these days will be full school days starting at 8am and ending at 2:58pm.
