Today, 2B learned about Paulette Thenhaus, a local artist who resides in Galesburg. Her paintings often combine elements of landscape and still life. Miss Brooks’ class worked very hard recreating Through the Leaves using pastel oils. Thank you, Mrs. Chandler!








The UHS FFA hosted the Kindergarten yesterday for some holiday activities.Thank you, Mrs. Sharp from Ag in the Classroom, and the FFA for a fun visit!

Donating books for charity! (Let Grow)

United West Elementary is seeking a full-time, certified paraprofessional to join our staff beginning January 5. It may include an assignment in PK, which would include restroom support. Interested candidates should contact Mr. Tom Hawkins, Superintendent, at thomas.hawkins@u304.org with a letter of interest. Individuals without the paraprofessional licensure will be considered provided they are willing to obtain it.
