KB measuring!
KB kicked off the measuring unit this week by measuring with Magnetiles!
Today we learned about Vincent van Gogh. We looked at his painting Bedroom at Arles and talked about what makes it special. Then the students used it as inspiration to draw their own bedrooms, adding personal details and their own unique style. They worked very hard and did a great job! Thank you, Mrs. Chandler! A former first grade student came into 1N to read today. We loved listening to her read and even got to ask her questions about reading.

The overall donations for Raise Craze was $12,326. The net profit was $11,565.10! We are extremely grateful to our West Families and community as well as the friends and family who contributed around the area and country! With your help, the outdoor classroom will be fully funded as well as some of the other goals. The PTO will be determining what will be purchased next month. This will be shared at a later date.
