Ms. Brook's class received the most votes in the pumpkin decorating contest and won the popcorn party!

A shotgun was fired in the distance this morning at 11:32 and 11:52 causing both United Intermediate and United West to bring students inside for the remainder of the day. Some students heard the first round of shots before returning inside. WCSD was alerted as to what had occurred.
Trick-or-Treating through the West hallways is this evening from 5:00-6:30 for West families. A grab-n-go hotdog meal will be available.
Family Bingo Night! November 19, 5:30-7:00.
We began celebrating the district's Non-certified Staff Appreciation Day today. Students made cards for the bus drivers, cooks, paraprofessionals, custodians and secretaries. We are grateful for what these caring people do for the kids each day. Thank you!
