United West Families: The traditional United West Elementary Halloween party and parade will not occur due to the continued community health restrictions. However, students are able to wear costumes to school on Friday, October 30. Teachers will be planning Halloween activities and the cooks are going to provide a special treat. No additional party food donations will be accepted this year. Costumes should be safe and school appropriate. No bloody, gory or otherwise distasteful costumes, no weapons, weapon look-alikes or toys please. As a rule, the student dress code listed in the Student Handbook will serve as a general guideline. Any student found to be costumed inappropriately will not be allowed to wear the costume. Thank you!

Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the changing temperatures so that they may go outside for class and activities. This is very important so they may have a mask break. (Jackets/ sweatshirts and pants) Thank you!
