The March 10th Spring Pictures are informal and will not have a retake. Order forms went home on February 23. Families may order up front or choose to wait until the proofs arrive and then order online.
Students may bring a safe prop, such as a baseball mitt or stuffed animal. Items that would be deemed unsafe for the bus must be brought to school by an adult.
Pre-K parents wanting their children to take Spring Pictures may bring them to school at 8:00 am on March 10th. Thank you!

KH is proud to be a National Park Trust Kids to Parks Day 2023 winner! BOTH kindergarten classrooms are headed to Starved Rock State Park to enjoy hiking, becoming Junior Rangers and more. May 12th will be kindergarten’s field trip day! More details to come home with your student soon.
United CUSD 304 is taking part in a State of Illinois survey regarding school climate. Parents have an opportunity to complete the survey regarding their child's building. Yearbook sales end on Friday. They are full color and 16 pages. We typically have a limited supply on hand after the sale. $10 cash or check made out to West Elementary or you can order online. They will arrive here in May. Thank you!

KH had a wonderful, impromptu, visit from a friend this afternoon. The kids enjoyed sharing their love of the National Park System with him!!
Raise Craze incentive recesses occurred this afternoon to enjoy the nice weather. Passes will be given out next week. Special lunch seating incentives are underway. The pizza parties are tomorrow. Movie parties are next Friday. The AMC drawing will be tomorrow. The 7 pie throws, including 2 for Mr. Coate will take place on April 6 at 12:30 before the 1:00 pm dismissal. Parents are welcome!
