The crowd was enthusiastic, and energy was high! UIS students took part in their own March Madness. This week classroom teachers surrounded many activities around basketball. They reviewed and prepped for next week's state test with a light-hearted approach. Throughout the week, students were nominated by teachers as they were "caught being good." Students were randomly chosen from the nominations to play knock-out with willing teachers on Friday.

IAR testing is next week, March 31st to April 4th. UIS students will receive a snack each day of testing. If you are willing to donate snacks to your child's homeroom class, please reach out to your child's teacher. We are seeking donations of Goldfish, crackers, granola bars, and fruit snacks. This is a reminder that the 2025 Illinois Supplemental Parent Survey opened on Feb. 18, 2025. The survey window will close on March 28, 2025, so please plan survey administration accordingly.

United Intermediate School 2024-2025 yearbooks are on sale now! Online and envelope forms went home on March 14, 2025 with your student. Orders are due April 1, 2025. There will be no late yearbook orders accepted, so please make sure your orders are in by that date.

Yearbooks are $20 this year. If you order online, there is a $1.99 service fee. Orders sent to the school should have the student and their homeroom teacher's names on them, along with the payment for the yearbook.
