Meet Mrs. Hedrick!

Hi, my name is Kay Hedrick. I am excited to be at United West Elementary as the new Cross-Categorical Special Education teacher. I completed my degree at Western Governors University in both Elementary Education and Special Education. I have been teaching high school special education for the past seven years but I am super excited to be transitioning to elementary school. I live in Aledo with my husband, Paul, and two of my four sons. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, scanning Pinterest for DIY craft ideas, reading and relaxing with my pets, Cooper & Lady.
