Meet Mrs. Flatt!

Hi, my name is Mrs.(Katey) Flatt and I am excited to be at United West Elementary as your new PE teacher! I attended Monmouth College 09’ and am certified k-12 Physical Education with a health endorsement. I am going into my 14th year of teaching Physical education, last working at Steele Elementary in Galesburg. I love being a PE teacher and I am so happy to be a part of the United Family. I live in Gerlaw with my husband Chase, son Braxton, daughter Chesney, and son Keaton. We have two little Yorkie dogs Thunder and Callie-Blue. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children’s extra curricular activities. My favorite color is green, but I do not like the Packers ;) I am looking forward to working with all of our students and families here at United West!
