Weatherman James Zahara visited both 3rd grade classes this morning. He gave a great presentation and we were even able to go inside the news channel 8 weather truck.
Our Day of Awesomeness has been rescheduled due to weather. It will now be Tuesday, May 31st!
Hello United North Family!
We are part of the Box Tops for Education Program. If you would like to help us earn money for the school, this is how it works.
All you need is your phone! Download the Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of your purchase. The app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit our school's earnings online. Twice a year, our school will receive a check from Box Tops.
When you go to the app, look for United North Elementary and follow the steps. Mrs. Hinton will be in charge of the program, so please reach out to her if you have any questions.

Congratulations to Lindley Burns and Wyatt Bockelman! These two students and their families and teachers will be attending the Student Recognition Breakfast in May to honor area students who show leadership qualities and represent their school in a positive way. VIP reservation flyers were sent home attached to the March calendars. Please return your form by April 1st if you plan to have a VIP attend with your child(ren) on May 6th. Thank you!
There is still time to sign up and attend! Parents and caregivers of children ages birth through 8 are challenged to come for the first session on Wednesday the 23rd to see what it's all about! This may be exactly what you need to feel like you're not alone in this season of parenting. We look forward to seeing YOU! Please use the registration link on the flyer to reserve your spot as well as your meal(s) and childcare if needed.
Alexis Youth Baseball forms just came in today. They have been distributed to teachers and should be sent home this afternoon. Please note on the forms that they should NOT be returned to the school. They are to be mailed to the address on the form.
Dear friends: We are $4,000 short of our “Step-It-Up” goal this year. In order to have the best Day of Awesomeness we can, we would love to reach this goal!
