Hello remote learners, We wanted to make you aware that United has a Remote Learning Support Page that can answer just about any question you might have about Remote Learning. If you are unable to find your answer on the support page, please feel free to click the "Submit a Remote Learning Support Request" button on the Support page. If your student has not been able to join a teacher's Google Classroom, please check your student / parent emails for invites. Jr. High baseball will have its first home game tonight at 4:30 in Alexis vs. Galva. If you plan on coming please remember to follow the 6 foot social distancing guidelines. Bleacher seating will be limited so it might be a good idea to bring lawn chairs if you are able.

Junior High Baseball Parents, There will be a mandatory parent meeting tomorrow night, Wednesday, August 12, at 5:00 in Alexis at the baseball field. Practice will be from 3:00-5:00 tomorrow.

UJH Baseball practice for this afternoon has been canceled due to the forecast. Practice will be from 2-4 tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon.

Junior High Parents, If you have not registered for school yet, please do so today by logging in to Skyward Family Access. If you have questions about your Skyward account please contact the Junior High Office. Remember, only students who are registered will receive a district Chromebook. Chromebooks for Junior High Students may be picked up at the Junior High from 11:00 am-6:00 pm on August 20, and from 7:30 am-3:00 pm on August 21.

Junior High Parents, Just a reminder that online registration is open through Sunday, August 9th. You can register via Skyward Family Access. Please contact the Junior High office if you have questions regarding your account. Every student who is registered will receive a district issued Chromebook. Chromebooks for Junior High Students can be picked up at the Junior High from 11:00 am-6:00 pm on August 20 and from 7:30 am-3:00 pm on August 21.

UJH Parents, The IESA has reversed their decision regarding the cancellation of JH baseball. We will send out more information next week.

Parents, We have a lot of uncertainties when it comes to what school supplies students will need to start the year. For right now, please make sure students have general school supplies, earbuds for their Chromebook, and a working calculator. Junior high students will not be using their lockers and will be allowed to bring their book bags to class. This will limit the amount of supplies they are able to carry, so please only send them with general supplies of writing utensils, paper, and a calculator. We will leave the supply list posted for now on the junior high website, but please understand students will not be required to have everything on the list when school starts. Please call the junior high office if you have any questions.

Parents, We have posted our return to school plan on the district website under “menu”; registration links will also be available within the next couple of days. Please call the UJH Office with any questions.

UJH Students/Parents will be allowed to drop off textbooks, uniforms, money for bills, etc. and collect locker items at UJH on May 18th and 19th from 8am to 4pm and May 20th from 10am to 6pm.

Parents, This is a reminder that the OSF Nutrition Poster Contest celebration has been canceled for this Saturday, March 28th.

The LTC Scholastic Bowl Tournament that was scheduled for this Saturday at UJH has been suspended. We will do our best to see if this can be rescheduled. Please call the office if you have any questions.

Parents, The 8th grade volleyball regional championship scheduled for tonight has been suspended, per the recommendation of the IESA. At this time, it is not known if the state series games will be rescheduled.

Parents, Wrestling pictures will be tomorrow (Wednesday) at 2:50 at UJH. UJH Wrestlers need to bring all of their gear to school tomorrow for pictures.
