United Intermediate School 2024-2025 yearbooks are on sale now! Online and envelope forms went home on March 14, 2025 with your student. Orders are due April 1, 2025. There will be no late yearbook orders accepted, so please make sure your orders are in by that date.

Yearbooks are $20 this year. If you order online, there is a $1.99 service fee. Orders sent to the school should have the student and their homeroom teacher's names on them, along with the payment for the yearbook.

UIS students will take the IAR from March 31st to April 4th. We are in search of parents who would like to help provide snacks to their child's homeroom class. Please reach out to your child's teacher or send the snacks with your child. We will be serving Goldfish, crackers, fruit snacks, and granola bars. Thank you in advance for your support!

UIS students will take the 5 Essentials Survey on Friday, March 7th. If you do not want your child to take the survey, you may opt out by completing the following form or calling the office. 309-734-8511.
5th grade students will travel to the Orpheum Theater on Friday, March 7th. They will watch a production of Catapult before returning to school. Friday is also an early dismissal at 1:00 p.m.

You will have access to two documents, an information letter and an Opt-Out letter. Students in grades PK-3 do not participate. Parents may take the Parent Survey at https://survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois/

The state of Illinois requires all 6th graders to complete a dental exam. Record of this is due on May 15th. Please see attached flyer for more details.
Some of our UIS students enjoyed Hawaiian day with themed activities and learning opportunities. They are ready for sunshine!




Tomorrow, Friday, February 21st, is Hawaiian Day! Help us all beat the winter blues by wearing your favorite Hawaiian shirts. Swim suits will not be allowed. Students may enjoy ice cream sandwiches and popsicles for $1.
