Kindergarteners learned all about apples this week and even got to do some taste testing!





The students in Mrs. Moran's 3rd grade received a package from their pen-pals in Australia today. They were excited to read their letters and enjoyed receiving key chains, pencil toppers and other items from Australia.

United North 5th graders enjoyed a beautiful day in Stronghurst at Farm Safetu Day sponsored by the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau. Students rotated through 11 stations learning about safety topics such as first aid, stranger danger, grain bins, Internet, and fire

Third grade “I Survived Book Club" had their group in the outdoor classroom during storm today. Fun!


Second and third grade classes went to the Orpheum Theater to see the showing of “Artrageous.” They got to go on stage and dance!


Picture Day will be September 16th. Order forms were sent home last week. All students will have their picture taken that day. Please send order forms the day of pictures or before. If you do not turn in a form, you will receive a proof and can order online at a later date.

All classes have buddy classes that they get together and do activities with throughout the year. Here is Mrs. Knapp’s fourth grade and Mrs. Kitchin’s first grade enjoying some time together.

Both third grade classes enjoyed a community walk through our town of Alexis today. They learned many new things about the community!

Mrs. Moran's 3rd grade class sent letters and items to their pen-pals in Australia last week. The students are very excited to be writing to 3rd graders on the other side of the world!
