
In an effort to reduce the amount of paper transfers, we will not be sending home printed copies of our calendar and lunch menu this year. Lunch and breakfast menus are found on the website and app under "dining." Calendar items are found under "events."

Tomorrow is the first day of school! “A” days will be in person. “B” days will be responsible for logging in to their Google Classroom or Seesaw sometime during the day to connect with their e-learning lessons and assignments. Chromebook pick up will be Thursday 8/20 from 11am-6pm or Friday 8/21 from 7:30am-3:30pm. A parent or guardian will need to be the one to pick up as an agreement will need to be signed. If you are unable to make one of these times, please call the office to arrange a pick up time. Chromebooks need picked up at each student's attendance center. Login information will be given at this time.

Online registration closes today. A couple things to remember:
1. Please register even if you plan to have your student do full remote learning.
2. Prek students starting in person second semester still need to register online.

All students Kindergarten through 5th grade will receive a chromebook to use while using the blended or full remote learning options. Our chromebook pick up dates and times will be: Thursday, 8/20 from 11-6pm and Friday, 8/21 from 7:30-3:30pm at the North Elementary. At this time, you will receive your child's login to the chromebook as well as their Google Classroom or Seesaw login information. Please call the office with any questions.

Backpack Night will look different this year. We will have a Virtual Backpack Night with information by teacher that will be available on social media and our website on August 19th.

Friday, August 7th from 8:30am-12pm.
*Proof of residency (utility bill, driver's license with current address, etc) is required when registering for the first time in the district.
*Please call the office at 309-482-3332 to set up an appointment for registration if you are new to United North.
*Students enrolled in our prek last year do not need to register on-site. You should be able to register online.
*Registration for returning students will be available online by the end of the week.
*Drop off of physicals, birth certificates, dental exams, vision exams, or any other paperwork can be dropped off at anytime M-F 8:30am-3:30pm. Please call the school first.

Please make arrangements to pick up materials Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. In an effort to thoroughly clean this summer, any items not picked up will be discarded.

Your child will be receiving a regular report card with grades earned for quarters 1-3. There will also be final grades which averages those 3 quarters combined. Attached to the regular report card will be a progress report for the fourth quarter. Due to the lack of in-person attendance, we are giving either a P for “pass” or an I for “incomplete.” If your child participated in instruction throughout the fourth quarter, he or she received a “pass.” If your child did not participate, he or received an “incomplete.”

We received a message from the yearbook company that their production has slowly began to resume, but in reality our yearbooks will probably not be here until June or July. We plan to hold them and give them out in the fall if that is the case.
