Hello everyone! My name is Maddie Blaesing and I am currently finishing up my senior year at Monmouth College! I have been at United North since the spring semester of 2023, where I was observing and teaching three days a week in Mrs. Temple's third grade classroom and Mrs. Turner's Kindergarten classroom! Now, I am student teaching with Mrs. Temple and couldn't be happier!
I am originally from the Monmouth area, attending school from Kindergarten - 12th grade in the Monmouth-Roseville school district. I graduated from Monmouth-Roseville in 2020 and decided I wasn't ready to leave home for college. I am no stranger to the education system as my mom has taught in special education classrooms, third grade, fifth grade, and is now focusing in math as an interventionist. My dad works at Monmouth College in the Development Office and my younger sister, Elise, will be a senior this fall at Monmouth-Roseville High School. I also have a dog named Sophie! In my spare time, you can usually find me spending time with my friends and family, reading, going for walks when it's nice, or at Italian Village where I have been waitressing for the past 7 years!
I am super excited to be at United North and take on this amazing opportunity!
