Dear United CUSD 304 Students, Families, and Community,
As the final bells ring and we officially bring the 2025–2026 school year to a close, I want to take a moment to look back on everything we have achieved together. Serving as your Superintendent is an honor, and days like today remind me why the United community is so incredibly special.
This year has been a testament to the dedication, resilience, and passion that define our district. From the classrooms of our elementary schools to the halls of our high school, our students have pushed boundaries, explored new ideas, and demonstrated what it truly means to be a member of the United Red Storm.
To Our Students
Thank you for your hard work, your curiosity, and your smile. You have excelled in academics, shone on the athletic fields, expressed yourselves beautifully in the arts, and shown immense kindness to one another.
To Our Families and Community
We simply could not do this without you. Thank you for your unwavering partnership, for trusting us with your children, and for showing up to support our schools at every turn. Your collaboration is the foundation of our success.
To Our Faculty and Staff
Your dedication to our students goes far beyond the curriculum. Thank you for creating safe, nurturing, and inspiring environments where our students can thrive every single day.
Looking Ahead to Summer
As we transition into the summer months, I encourage all of our families to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy summer. Students, please keep reading, keep exploring, and most importantly, stay safe.
Thank you all for an unforgettable school year. Have a wonderful, safe, and happy summer!
Remember to Be United,
Mr. Tom Hawkins, Superintendent of Schools
United Community Unit School District 304
