United High School recently reached agreement with long time United Junior High Basketball Coach Jason Lancaster to become the next Head Coach of the Red Storm Varsity program. Lancaster has been with the district since 2017 and also is has served as Head Junior High Baseball Coach. Lancaster served as the varsity assistant to the Red Storm baseball team this past Spring. Lancaster has been the Junior High PE teacher since 2017, but recently was transferred to the High School to serve as the Driver's Education Instructor. The board will make the hiring official at the July 13 regular board meeting. The 2023-24 United Varsity Basketball team will start practicing on November 6, 2023.
