United North Elementary

My name is Jaime Koerner and I am so excited to be joining the United North Elementary family as the new school librarian! My husband Dan and I live in Galesburg with our two children, Lexi and Evan, and are welcoming another daughter this summer. We love to travel, have movie nights, and play board games as a family. I have been an avid reader my entire life and now feel so fortunate to help kids of all ages find books that help encourage their love of reading and story-telling! I believe that books are mirrors and windows, so that kids can see themselves in the stories they read, as well as see experiences through the eyes of other people all over the world from all backgrounds. I can’t wait to share the joy of reading, literacy and connection with all the students in the library!
